Official public information of the City of Amador, California.

The City of Amador public website is open at cityofamador.gov. It is where the City publishes meetings, records, notices, and news. No account is needed to read them.

Meetings

City Council and Planning Commission agendas, packets, and minutes are on the meetings page. Agendas are posted in advance. Minutes are published once they are approved. A meeting plays on the site while it is live. Recordings stay on the City Council YouTube channel.

Records

Ordinances, resolutions, the municipal code, forms, maps, and other published files are in City records. Agendas and minutes for a meeting are listed with that meeting. Municode remains the official codification. A signed document remains the source record.

Notices, applications, and news

Public notices are posted on the notices page as the City issues them. Applications for reimbursements, agenda requests, facility rentals, permits, and other city business start on the applications page. Announcements from City Hall are posted as news.

Maps, photographs, and the town

The city map shows the city limit, parcels, flood areas, historic sites, historical markers, and photographs the City has cleared to share. Those pictures are also in the photo archive. The visit page covers shops, dining, the Imperial Hotel, the Amador Whitney Museum, and fire safety. A short history of the city is on the timeline.

Another way to read the records

Published records can also be read by an automated assistant. What that includes, and what it leaves out, is described in Public records can be read by an automated assistant.
